Learning should be rooted in real-world relevance, engaging prior knowledge and building practical skills, not passive absorption.​

Each learner is unique, so flexibility is key—approaches should adjust to the learner’s specific needs and goals. Bogdan Cernea

Founder, SkillScend

I have spent 12 years inside some of Europe's most complex organisations — IBM, ING, and the London Stock Exchange Group — doing the kind of work that does not fit neatly into a job title.

At LSEG I led a 90-day Agile pilot for 50 professionals that scaled to over 1,000 people across the organisation. At ING I designed and ran Scrum Master bootcamps and applied Lean Six Sigma diagnostics to systemic delivery problems. At IBM I managed enterprise releases, built internal facilitation networks, and became an Enterprise Design Thinking Coach.

I founded SkillScend in 2024 with a single principle: organisations do not need more frameworks. They need the structural clarity to know which problems actually matter — and the internal capability to solve them without external dependency.

I am a PCM Certified Trainer, a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and an ICAgile Certified Professional in Agile Coaching. I hold certifications in Evidence-Based Management, SAFe, and Enterprise Design Thinking. Every credential I carry reflects a real practice area, not a collection of badges.

I work with a small number of organisations at any given time. Engagements begin with a diagnostic conversation — not a proposal, not a pitch. If the fit is right, we build something together that lasts after I leave.

Outside of work I am a proud father, a technology enthusiast, and someone who is genuinely curious about what comes next.
